从早期新疆的摸索阶段到珠海唐家湾的细致描绘,吴陆升的作品都表现出一种原生艺术的格调,他非常关切周遭的事物,敏锐灵活的观察和思考,画面往往不拘一格,展示出多样性的观点和面貌。在近十多年的绘画创作中,不难看到吴陆升对绘画艺术的默默探究和追求,油画和水墨画是他常用的创作媒介,他对传统艺术有着深刻的理解,在画作中,无论对平凡生活的淡彩描写,或色彩豪放的场景作品,笔法写意洒脱,内涵和技法上都在不断求变,这更使其绘画作品显得生机勃勃。近几年在澳门生活,亦正值澳门走在急速转变的道路上,这种城市骤然交替的环境对艺术家而言,是兴奋且伤感的,澳门东西融会的文化氛围和历史痕迹,就是给吴陆升有别样的感悟,精彩的娱乐文化,他看到了人性的复杂面目,交织的大街小巷,观察到车水马龙的城市景观,人与人不可估量的神态表情,这些都使其绘画创作有了新的冲击和体会,在观念上亦发生了质的改变,当中“自由系列”就较能代表这一时期,以动物作为意象,表达出求生挣扎的欲望,表现了动物的天性,这当然亦是人的本性,在特定规范的制约下,人们似乎已习惯了不断的对抗与建立,这正是当今社会的写照,承受着社会的游戏规则,盲目跟从,是非难辨,唯一可以做的,可能就是向着缺口狂奔,对方向的迷惑,无助的眼神,这是他对生存环境的感受、社会现象的反映,人们还也不是被自己无理无形的社会形态所扭曲着吗?自由,在今天看来,或许带有几分讥讽味,更令我们反思自由的真实性。吴陆升的画风是多变的,这显然受他早期在辽阔边疆的生活环境影响,大山大地的熏陶,感性且旷达,对理念的执着,释放内心的激情和呼唤,抒发出生命中的气度,相信这正是吴陆升不断进行绘画创作和探索的本源。唐重(澳门艺术博物馆资深策展人) 2011-11
Painting, when it goes beyond vision, can reflect personal experience and valuesFrom his earlier work Xinjiang to his recent detailed painting Tang Jia Wan, Wu's works always bring out a style of natural art. He pays a lot of attention to his surroundings. Due to his sharp awareness and quick thinking, his works express in various styles and they represent different points of view and ideas. During the past decade, it is obvious that he has been pursuing and investigating paintings. Oil paintings, as well as ink and wash paintings, are the media of drawing which he most commonly uses. He has a deep knowledge of traditional art. In his works, no matter whether it is an image of normal daily life or a magnificent scenic painting, his drawing style is always free and easy. He keeps improving his connotation and skill, so that his works appear more and more lively.
